National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial
May 11th’s program will be about the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, DC. The program will highlight some of the activities that will take place during National Police Week in our Nation’s Capital starting May 13, ending the 19th. May 19th is our Club’s Law Day where we will honor Police Officers from around Ventura County for their service to our community. Please make sure to attend these meetings to see how those who have given their lives, and are working daily for our safety are honored
May 4th, Dr. Syd Dhillon, “Stress and How to Minimize It”
A chiropractor, Dr. Syd is a specialist in non-force and traditional chiropractic. His community outreach program has been in place for over five years.
April 25th, Deidre Monarres, HEAL VUSD
Kiwanis member, Deidre Monarres, will give us an update on a project called HEAL VUSD. She will discuss it’s goals, objectives, activities, etc.
April 13th: Ventura County Star
On April 13th George Cogswell, President and Publisher of the Ventura County Star and John Moore, Editor, will be speaking at our Club’s meeting at 12:00PM. George and John plan to have a lighthearted, funny and entertaining presentation about the Star in the Ventura County Community.

April 6th, Christine Plasencia, Harmony Project
The Harmony Project received a grant from our club a few weeks ago. They were unable to attend so we are looking forward to hearing about the project.
March 30th, Margo Byrne of the YMCA
Margo Byrne will be speaking about the different programs that the YMCA now offers, with a special emphasis on programs for children. YMCA has been a part of Ventura for 125 years and continues to help keep our residents healthy!
